We run a fun, activity-centred club for 4-14 year olds.

The place for children to enjoy activities and relax during their non‑school time.

Getting it right for children is our priority. Your child is in safe hands

Safe Hands is based at St Cuthbert’s, and is run by Miss Tully & Mr Bibby, who have worked at the school for several years. It is an after-school and holiday club, providing fun activities for children aged 4 to14. The club is a childcare provision that gives children a place to play. We are registered by Ofsted as a suitable provision on the compulsory register. Even if you don’t need childcare, you may want your child to come along now and again for a safe place to play and socialise. How often children come to the club and how many hours they stay varies. Once a week or month, every weekday, just for an hour, two, three, or all the hours - pick and mix - there is a wide choice with our fair pricing system.

Our space offers a range of play opportunities for children to choose from, indoor and out.

We are open during term-time from school close – 6:15pm

Come and use our Lego, Mobilo, Meccano, K’NEX, Play Mobil, Marble Run, outdoor play equipment, board games, Top Trumps, tents, musical instruments, dolls, dressing up box, toys galore, books, music, art equipment, and the school’s computer suite.

See our notice-board in the school hall for further information.
